1. Terms & Conditions

1.1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CivicPlay.ai website, newsletter, webinars, consulting services, and any related content or materials (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are operated by N'Ihu Technologies, a sole proprietorship incorporated in Alberta, trading as CivicPlay AI ("CivicPlay AI", "we", "us", "our"). By using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1.2. Eligibility

The Services are intended for professionals aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from, or market to, individuals under 18.

1.3. Scope of Services

CivicPlay AI provides:

  • The CivicPlay AI Pulse email digest;

  • Educational webinars and workshops (virtual or in‑person);

  • Paid 1‑on‑1 consulting sessions; and

  • Resource downloads (templates, case studies, etc.). Content is offered for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. You remain responsible for all decisions made based on any information provided.

1.4. Account Registration & Communications

When you subscribe, register, or purchase, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. By subscribing you consent to receive transactional and marketing emails. You may opt‑out any time via the unsubscribe link.

1.5. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and materials are owned by CivicPlay AI or its licensors and are protected under Canadian and international IP laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

1.6. User‑Submitted Content

If you submit materials (comments, survey responses, "WOW" moments, etc.) you grant CivicPlay AI a royalty‑free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, display, modify, and distribute such content for promotional or educational purposes.

1.7. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

  • Payment processor: Stripe. We do not store full card details.

  • Consulting / webinar bookings: Payment due at checkout.

  • Refunds:

    • 100 % refund if cancelled ≥ 7 days before the session;

    • 50 % refund if cancelled 48 h – 7 days before;

    • No refund for cancellations within 48 h or for no‑shows.

  • Rescheduling is free once per booking if requested ≥ 24 h in advance.

  • Prices are in CAD; applicable taxes are added at checkout.

1.8. Third‑Party Services

We integrate services from Wix (website hosting), Jotform (data capture), Stripe (payments), Google Analytics, and Mailchimp (mailing list). Each provider processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

1.9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. CivicPlay AI disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free operation.

1.10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CivicPlay AI and its owners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues arising out of your use of the Services.

1.11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CivicPlay AI and its owners against all claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

1.12. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be heard exclusively in the courts of Calgary, Alberta.

1.13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.​​
